Portfolios - Harper

               
                     Javier Pineda- I chose his portfolio because i liked the simplicity of the drawings with strong vibrant contrasting colors. His portfolio showed a wide variety of genres, but all drawn in his style. i like the way the photos are not spaced apart. that way when the viewer is just glancing they can easily look back at another drawing. because all the drawing are placed together like this it almost makes them all one big project.

                        Tim Hearne- i chose Tim's work because of its nostalgic pop culture. most of the artist he makes work of, i grew up listening to. i like how he can mix objects with humans to personify them, and make the work come to life. tim has an amazing eye for detail in all of his portrait drawings of celebs and musicians.

Rebecca Miller - rebecs art stood out to me, she has very clean graphic art. this is a medium i would like to better understand and learn, so i would find myself attracted to her work. the cleanliness  of her work makes it suitable in my mind to almost put her work on anything. I believe her work can make great tattoo ideas to with the bold lines in her work and great color pallets.
